Image Overlay

The image overlay widget is a composite widget that allows you to upload an image, and then overlay and position alarm and property elements for a specific thing.

For example, you could upload an image of an office floor plan, and then add and position open door alarms and temperature properties.


Field	Description
Name	The name of the widget, shown at the top of the widget.
Thing key	The unique key of the thing to be shown by the widget.
Attach File	The file to be uploaded from the local PC. All images uploaded by this mechanism can be managed in the Developer > Files.
Show border	Whether the widget should have a border around it.

Property Fields


Field	Description
Property key (mandatory)	The key of the property to be shown by the widget.
Property name	The name of the property to be shown by the widget.
Alarm key	The key of the alarm that is related to the property. The color of the alarm will be used to color the property.
Frame property	Whether the property should have a border around it.

Alarm Fields


Field	Description
Alarm key (mandatory)	The key of the alarm.
Icon	The icon to be used to represent the alarm.
Icon size	The size of the icon.
Frame icon	Whether the alarm icon should have a border around it.
