Field Formats and Limitations

The following table provides the limitation of the fields used in the Management Portal.

Key
A key is an identifier that must be unique within the organization.

  • 64 characters or fewer

  • The valid characters for a key include:

    • alphabetic

    • numeric

    • underscore (_)

    • hyphen (-)

  • Case insensitive (although stored and returned as lowercase)

Tags

The valid characters for a tag include:

  • alphabetic characters (converted to lowercase when possible)

  • numeric

  • underscore (_)

  • hyphen (-)

  • A 24 character hexadecimal string
