Create Configuration Files

Look up the device manager and telemetry application tokens in the Management Portal, and create the configuration files for the device manager and for the device's connection with the Device Cloud.

1. Look up the application tokens in the Management Portal, and note their values.

2. Create the iot.cfg file to define the operation of the device manager's features.

3. Create the iot-connect.cfg file to define the connection between the device and the Device Cloud, and to identify the device manager instance with the using token that you found in the Management Portal.

4. Create telemetry-app.cfg file to identify the application instance, using token that you found in the Management Portal.
