What to Do Next

Now that you have started transmitting data successfully, you can continue exploring Device Cloud and start developing your own applications.

You can do the following:

• Run other applications from the demo directory. The applications and thing definitions should already exist in your Device Cloud organization. The steps to run other applications are similar to those you did to run the iot-simple-telemetry.py application. For more information, see Sending Data to Device Cloud from Your Device in Windows.

• On the Management Console, create triggers using the thing data as cloud trigger events. For more information, see Device Cloud Management Portal User's Guide: Triggers.

• Start writing your own client applications. For more information, see the Device Cloud Device Programmer's Guide.

• If you are an organization administrator, you may want to add other users to your organization. For more information, see Device Cloud Management Portal User's Guide: Adding a User.
